Tack =)

I also downloaded a course to learn Swedish, where they teach phrases, not single words and actually read them aloud, and stuff, but I have the feeling I'll never really be able to learn it until I get there... Though I do have the Swedish series of Wallander on dvd with subtitles, I should watch those 100 times till I know everything by heart.
Tough then I'll be able to talk about murders and not anything else probably xD

In my experience it's always easier to learn a language while you're in the country where it's spoken because you'll be surrounded by it all the time. For that to work you probably need to have some basic knowledge of the language so the course sounds like a good start as well as watching Wallander. And as I've said before, if there's anything you have questions about/want to know etc. feel free to ask and I'd be happy to help you!

Hey sorry for the late reply, haven't been around a computer much lately.
Thanks! Yes it does help to be surrounded by it all the time. Also found out that they're doing these Scandinavian movie nights on the dutch television and the first one is Swedish (also spoken language, because they're gonna play a few movies from Lars Von Trier that are mostly English) so I'll probably watch those too, but that's just a few things and it's very minimal, so that's not gonna help as much as actually being in Sweden and hearing Swedish all the time.
But thanks again for offering your help, I certainly will ask if I need it =)
