emmanette | 'I'm not being funny, but...'

So, because of today's rainy weather and having nothing better to do I finished watching the 2nd series of BBC's Robin Hood. And because I have to talk about it...

some things in this show just don't add upp, like how all the soldiers are always knocked out with one punch even though they're wearing protective armor and Robin can get punched all over and still stand up and walk away. There are a few more things like this and some bad plots but I still love the show because of the characters and their relationships. And because I care about the characters I can live with a few bad plots and inconsistencies here and there - this show is entertaining anyways.

Some things I want to comment on:

Marian's death
I knew about it pretty much ever since the episode first aired and BBC, I love you, but seriously? Robin Hood without Marian is just... wrong.

Much
I love him so much!!! He's just adorable and so funny...! *squishes* His and Robin's talk about what they had gone through in the war in the last episode was probably the best part of the episode-

Allan and Will
I love these two and their friendship even though you don't get to see much of it. And they are so cute! I loved how Will was willing to sort of forgive Allan for his betrayal when they thought they were going to die and how Allan, when he was in the castle, still showed some loyalty towards his old friends in refusing to give up the location of the camp or some of their other secrets. And in the end he saved them!

Will/Djaq
So, I know a lot of people are all "OMG!socute!" about these two, but I don't know... I just don't really feel it. Will says he loves Djaq in the middle of series 1, then they hardly have any moments except for the odd touch or glance here and there (yes, I noticed those) and then they're all "I love you!" "I love you too!" *kisses* and then they're all cuddly. I think they just moved too quickly or something for me to find it realistic... And, what's up with them staying behind in the Holy Lands? That upset me more than Marian's death! I'm just saying they better be back, or else...!
