The Bitch Is Back

emmanetteSince I'm reviewing today I might as well continue. It's the series finale after all.
Oh, where do I start? Let's do what I usually do - one list of what I liked and one of what I didn't like.
On the + side:
- Weevil's back!
- I like that we got to see Dick deal with some of his issues regarding Cassidy. I just wish they would have given him more time throughout the season to do that because it would have added a lot to his character.
- The "mysteries of the episodes" were ok. Not great. Ok.
- The way things ended with LoVe. Forcing them back together in the last episode would just have been awkward. But the way they did it, it doesn't even take an over analyzing shipper to realize that they both still have feelings for one another and eventually will get back together again.
- The Dick/Mac scene. It was kinda strange (probably because Dick was being very much out of character) but I liked it.
On the - side:
- What's with Logan beating up everyone all of a sudden? Yeah, I get he was pissed about the sex-tape because he obviously still cares for Veronica (and that's not the shipper part of me speaking, meaning it's obvious even for a person who's not a LoVe shipper) but seriously?! Season1!Logan might have done something like that but season3!Logan? He's matured in so many ways and had a lot of better reasons to beat up people but resisted. And don't get me wrong I love season1!Logan but now it just seemed a little out of character.
- The whole "Veronica breaking in, Keith destroying evidence" deal. *Ugh*
- When they showed us Veronicas shirt getting stuck on the nail on the door even the stupidest person on earth could have figured there would be a thread left on the nail that could be used for evidence. Stop making things so obvious!
- The final scene. You make 3 seasons of a show and this is how you end it? Veronica voting in the sheriffs election and walking down a rainy street. The only good part about it was the music.
So, yeah. Last. Episode. Ever. My thoughts. There you have it. More plus points than minus ones, I guess that's a good thing. I wanted this to be a happy review because even if I haven't cared much about it latley it's a show I've loved and cared about for three years now. Let's just sum up with saying it wasn't the best episode ever, or the worst. It felt more like one of the average episodes that you enjoy while watching but don't leave much of an impression. And I'm not trying to be negative here, just honest because I know VM has had lots of awesome memorable episodes. This one will be remembered because it was the series finale (unless the CW changes their mind again?) but not so much for the rest, minus a few parts maybe.
I've probably forgotten lots of things I wanted to comment on but I need to get ready to leave for the PotC3 premiere so I dont't have time now. Might add a few things in later if I think of anything in particular.
